Mhammed ECHKOUNDI Mhammed Echkoundi is a Full Professor, an economist at the Institute of African Studies, associate researcher at the University of Botswana. He prepared a doctoral thesis in France on governance and territorial development dynamics in Africa. He is a specialist in development economics and governance issues. Has just coordinated a collective work on "good governance and fight against poverty: case of Morocco, Botswana, Mauritius, Gabon and DRC". He works on the economies of southern Africa and has published several articles on the theme, the last of which is entitled: "Company governance in South Africa: the case of Lonmin and the Massacre of Marikana", published in the notebooks of the Tiers World Association. He supervises doctoral theses in Morocco and the Pan -African University of Yaoundé. **************************************************************************************** Pr. Hicham HIHI Hicham HIHI was born in Fez, Morocco. He is a Full Professor at the National School of Applied Sciences and a Researcher at the Engineering, Systems, and Applications Laboratory (LISA) in Sidi Mohamed ben Abdellah University of Fez. He received his PhD degree in 2008 from the École Centrale de Lille (France) in Control Engineering and Industrial Computing, and his HDR degree in 2016 from Cadi Ayyad University of Marrakech (Morocco). From 2015 to 2018, he was director of the electrical engineering at ENSA in Marrakech at Cadi Ayyad University. Professor HIHI is a specialist in the Control and Automatic Supervision of Complex Systems focused on Industry 4.0, with over 20 years of academic and industrial research experience and a strong track record of international collaborations. He has been a visiting professor on several occasions at the University of Lille 1, Centrale Lille, Polytech Lille, Cadi Ayyad University of Marrakech, University of Technology, Belfort Montbéliard, Boumerdes University (Algeria), and the National School of Engineering of Tunis (Tunisia). He has also been President of the International Conference on Monitoring of Industrial Systems since 2011. From 2015 to 2019, he was President of the Association for Industrial Research and Innovation (Rinnovaindus), and has been Vice President since 2019. His research interests include: 1) Modeling and simulation of physical systems using the Bond Graph approach, discrete and hybrid event systems, and Macroscopic Energy Representation (MER) with mechatronic applications. 2) Advanced energy management of electrical systems and vehicles. Author and co-author of over 100 scientific publications (journals, newspapers, and national and international conferences), he has been head of the "Renewable Energies and Control Systems" research team since 2020 and Deputy Director of the Engineering, Systems, and Applications Laboratory at ENSA Fez since 2023.
